Brett Katz
— Managing Director. Former Detective, Capability Builder, Technology Executive. 15 years of service as a police officer and Detective with the Australian Federal Police (AFP), investigating organised crime, volume property offending, drug trafficking and illegal firearms. Led AFP Investigations Capability Plan development and a world-class Investigations Management Solution aligned to AGIS 2022.
Jennifer Hurst APM
— Director Investigations. National Security, Complex Investigations, Counter Terrorism. Jennifer Hurst has over 35 years of executive experience across national security, intelligence, and law enforcement, including senior leadership roles within the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC), the Australian Federal Police (AFP), and INTERPOL. She was awarded the Australian Police Medal for leadership in counter-terrorism and serious organised crime. As Executive Director, Intelligence Operations at the ACIC, Jen held executive accountability for national and international intelligence operations targeting transnational and serious organised crime. Her AFP career spanned Commander appointments in International Strategy, Counter Terrorism, Crime Investigations and People Smuggling as well as four years in London as Commander for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and a period as Chief of Staff to the AFP Commissioner. From Lyon, she served as INTERPOL's Assistant Director for Public Safety and Terrorism. As Director Investigations at PTI, Jen leads the investigations practice, advising government, defence and industry clients on the design, uplift and assurance of investigative capability. She brings executive-level experience in structuring complex investigative functions, aligning them to standards, and ensuring that skilled practitioners are supported by sound governance and fit-for-purpose technology.
Dr Katie Willis AIM
— Director Intelligence. Intelligence Leadership, Organisational Transformation, Strategic Policy. More than 30 years' experience leading intelligence, social research, capability development, organisational transformation and strategic policy across the Australian Government. Former senior executive service leader at the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC). Awarded the Australian Intelligence Medal (AIM) in 2022. PhD (Anthropology) and BA (Hons I), Australian National University. Member, Australian & New Zealand Society of Criminology.
Craig Mann APM
— Director Capability. Former Detective, Specialist Capability Builder, Project Management. 36 years of comprehensive experience developing and leading specialised investigational and operational capabilities in the AFP, including Serious and Organised Crime, Intelligence Operations, and the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE). Awarded the Australian Police Medal (APM) in 2025.
Nicole Joffe
— Director Sustainability & Governance. Energy & Regulatory Policy, Corporate Governance, Strategic Risk. Over 15 years of experience across government and industry in energy markets, regulatory policy, and complex market design, with senior roles at the ACCC, the Clean Energy Regulator, and Commonwealth agencies.
Mark Elvin APM
— Senior Advisor Investigations. Investigations Expert, Former Detective, Best Practice Facilitator. Over 30 years of law enforcement experience with the AFP, spanning ACT Policing and National Investigations. Awarded the Australian Police Medal (APM) in 2017 for services to Investigations.
Paul Reid
— Senior Advisor Intelligence. Intelligence Expert, Former Police Officer, Change Facilitator. 30 years of service with Victoria Police, with 20 years as a supervising intelligence analyst specialising in counter terrorism, organised crime, and corruption.
Greg Bergsma
— Executive Strategist. Public Sector Strategy, Digital Transformation, Global Sales & Marketing. Over 30 years of experience in high technology, defence, security, and the public sector, helping organisations transform, expand globally, and leverage cutting-edge ICT strategies.
Dean Katz
— General Counsel & Company Secretary. Commercial Contracts, Strategic Legal Specialist, Corporate Governance. Specialist Corporate & Commercial, Contracts and Mergers & Acquisitions lawyer with over 15 years' strategic legal experience. PTI is a partner with Katz Legal.
